A musical collaboration between Janine Bensouda and Dev Chakraborty at The Poetic Heart This collaboration brought to life the melodious creation of Tagore 'Ekla chalo re' to life in a beautiful medley in Arabic and Bengali. The Poem was translated by Dr. Shihab Ghanem, a noted Emirati poet who has been the mentor and patron for 'The Poetic Heart' since 2012. More about Janine: Janine a successful triathlete, mother and entrepreneur, excelling at endurance sport has had a huge positive impact on her family and business! Janine studied singing formally from a young age and even sang opera when only 14 years old! Her love for singing continued throughout her life with many performances in bands, concerts and musicals. Most recently Janine played lead roles in two professional musicals (Hairspray and West side Story) alongside London West End professionals at Ductac in Dubai. Janine believes that singing unites us all in a way that is powerful, inclusive and passionate. Music is a key part of her life. More about Dev: DeV Chakraborty is an accomplished Singer, Lyricist, Composer and Music Coach from Kolkata, India. He started learning Indian Classical Music at his early age and later got higher musical education from many notable musical gurus. To add to this musical journey, DeV joined hands with Smartlife Foundation, a charitable organization, as a Musical Coach, Vocal Trainer and Mentor.
